C&C Lobster Co. began way before the company was founded in 1984.
Named after their two daughters, Casey & Courtney (C&C), owners Bill and Joanne Demoree began C&C lobster as a wholesale company.
Bill would catch the lobsters on his lobster boat, the 'Billy Jo', in the morning and then ship them throughout the country in the afternoon. Having knowledge of all things seafood, Bill and Joanne decided to take C&C Lobster to the next level and opened the retail store located at 297 Lynn St. in Peabody in August of 1990.
In the late 90's, C&C Lobster took their culinary delights from their store to your door, and began catering on-site clambakes.

Bill cut his teeth in the seafood business as a lobsterman out of Gloucester after graduating from Lynn Classical High School, eventually captaining his own lobster boat, the 'Billy Jo'. He is now the smiling face behind the C&C retail counters, and behind the wheel of the C&C clambake truck helping provide the best clambakes around.

Joanne is no stranger to the world of seafood. Joanne grew up the daughter of a lobsterman and after graduating from Saugus High School, she married Bill, and helped create C&C Lobster off the back of his boat. She can be seen creating homemade delights at C&C, or delicious creations at C&C's sister store, Something Sweet.
